Job summary

West Boca Medical Center, part of the Tenet Healthcare family, is seeking an Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) for per diem evening shifts. You will support nursing staff and physicians with emergency treatment across all ages and document care accurately in the EHR.

A Florida EMT license is required for EMT work, and BLS from the American Heart Association is expected. The role emphasizes compassionate care, professional development, and teamwork within WBMC’s emergency services.

Qualifications

Job Summary

Per Diem, Evenings

The Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) assists professional nursing staff and physicians with the provision of emergency treatment to patients of all ages. Documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record.

Qualifications

Education Minimum:

High School or GED Equivalent

EMT must have completed EMT course

Experience:

One (1) year in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.

CNA completed course preferred.

Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.

Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:

American Heart Association BLS

Healthy Interventions required within three (3) months of hire.

Additional requirements for EMT:

State of Florida EMT license
