West Boca Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Emergency Medical Tech (EMT) for per diem shifts. You will support nurses and physicians in delivering emergency care, document care in the EHR, and help ensure timely treatment for patients of all ages.

Requirements include an EMT course, Florida EMT license, BLS certification, and strong communication skills. Hospital experience and phlebotomy/EKG skills are preferred; CNA training is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School or GED Equivalent.
• EMT course completed.
• One year in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.
• CNA course preferred.
• Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.
• Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.
• State of Florida EMT license.
• American Heart Association BLS.

Qualifications

Education
Minimum:

High School or GED Equivalent

EMT must have completed EMT course

Experience:

One (1) year in hospital or nursing home setting preferred.

CNA completed course preferred.

Phlebotomy and EKG experience preferred.

Excellent human relations and oral/written communications skills.

Required Certification/Licensure/Registration:

American Heart Association BLS

Healthy Interventions required within three (3) months of hire.

Additional requirements for EMT:

State of Florida EMT license
