Job summary

Piedmont Newton Hospital is seeking a staff nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care across the patient lifecycle. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care within the nursing process and ensure alignment with organizational policies and standards.

Applicants must have RN licensure in Georgia; BCLS is required. New graduates are eligible, and hospital experience is preferred especially for PRN positions. Advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• New graduates eligible.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year in a hospital setting for PRN positions preferred.
• RN - Georgia licensure required.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle using nursing processes: assess, plan, implement, evaluate.
• Follows organization policies and procedures and maintains professional growth and accountability.
• Maintains standards of practice and coordinates patient care activities of all assigned staff to deliver quality nursing care.
