Qualifications

• Accredited nursing program required.
• BLS certification required (AHA).
• AIHA/ECARD and BLS-RQI credentials preferred.
• RN license valid in Florida required.
• Compact/National RN license accepted where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of patient safety and clinical standards.

Responsibilities

• Delegate patient care to ancillary staff as appropriate.
• May precept students and new hires.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care based on patient assessment.
• Monitor and document patient condition and communicate changes.
• Provide education to patients and families across age groups.
• Coordinate care with other disciplines for discharge planning.
