Job summary

Arnot Health is seeking a Sitter for the ER at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. This 40-hour weekly position focuses on continuous patient observation and safety under the direction of a professional nurse.

Responsibilities include immediate reporting of safety concerns, providing delegated care, and maintaining patient privacy and dignity. Minimums include a high school diploma and BLS CPR within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience required.
• BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the patient’s behavior and informs the nurse if safety concerns arise.
• Maintains a safe environment and provides patient care as delegated by the RN.
• Stays with the patient to ensure continuous visual contact and privacy.
• Feeding patients as delegated by the RN.
• Ensures patient dignity and privacy by proper positioning and curtains.
