Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina is seeking a Registered Nurse II to provide individualized, goal-directed patient care in the Emergency Department. You will utilize the nursing process to deliver safe, effective care and collaborate with the health care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

The role requires an Associate’s Degree in Nursing with SC RN licensure (or compact state), current BLS, and PALS/ACLS certifications.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current licensure as a registered nurse by SC Board of Nursing or a compact state.
• BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS required or equivalent.
• Able to meet physical requirements listed in job description.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, effective care and coordinate with health care team to achieve results.
• Maintain professional standards and comply with hospital policies.
