Job summary

Medical University of South Carolina seeks a Registered Nurse I for its Emergency Department. This on-site role requires an Associate degree in nursing, SC or compact-state RN licensure, and BLS; PALS and ACLS are also required.

The position supports patient-centered care with a 36-hour work week and a $30,000 sign-on bonus for qualified new hires. Bachelor’s degree is preferred, and the nurse will collaborate with the health care team to deliver safe, evidence-based care while meeting licensure

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Current RN licensure in SC or compact state is required.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS are required.
• Ability to perform duties with physical stamina and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized, goal-directed patient care using the nursing process.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to deliver safe, effective care.
• Maintain compliance with licensure, BLS, PALS, and ACLS requirements.
