Qualifications

• Accredited Nursing Program (Required).
• BLS American Heart E-Card and related BLS credentials required (per unit).
• RN licensed in Florida (Compact License noted).

Responsibilities

• Plans, implements, and evaluates patient care based on assessment to optimize outcomes.
• Monitors, documents, and communicates patient condition as appropriate.
• Educates patient and family according to age, culture, and condition.
• Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including disposition, referral, and psychosocial needs.
• Delegates patient care to ancillary staff; may precept students and new hires.
