Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have completed a nursing program from an NLN approved institution.
• Associate's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Minimum 1 year Emergency Department experience preferred.
• Licensed in good standing as a Registered Professional Nurse in Alaska.
• Current BLS & ACLS. PALS within 6 months; TNCC and ENPC within one year.

Responsibilities

• Deliver patient care through the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and coordinate nursing care based on standards.
• Collaborate with other health professionals to provide quality, cost-effective care and optimal outcomes.
• Serve as a resource, respecting age-specific and cultural considerations, from birth to elderly.
