Woodland Heights Medical Center is seeking an RN PRN for our ER Department. The role focuses on providing high-quality, patient-centered care, coordinating with the care team, and responding to emergencies in a fast-paced environment.

The RN will administer medications, monitor patients, educate families, and uphold infection control standards while collaborating with physicians and staff to achieve optimal outcomes. Minimum 0–2 years in acute care is required, with BCLS and state licensure.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of clinical nursing experience in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered nursing care following the nursing process and physician orders
• Coordinate care with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Administer medications, monitor effects, and document accurately
• Respond to emergencies and participate in CPR and life-saving interventions
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and discharge plans
• Maintain infection control practices and safe, clean environments
• Document care thoroughly in the medical record
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to enhance outcomes
• Demonstrate professional development and clinical competency
