Job summary

Woodland Heights Medical Center seeks a compassionate RN for PRN shifts in our ER department. Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process, coordinate with physicians and the care team, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and empathy.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• ER/acute care experience preferred.
• Knowledge of nursing process and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care following the nursing process.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for effects.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency scope.
• Educate patients and families on conditions and post-discharge plans.
• Maintain infection control and safety protocols.
