Job summary

Henrico Doctors' Hospital is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PRN pool in Virginia. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in the ER, collaborating with physicians and the care team to ensure timely, accurate documentation and effective pain management.

Requirements include an accredited nursing degree with an RN license in VA or a compact state, with 1 year ER experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in VA or a compact multistate license.
• 1 year ER experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Assesses pain and manages interventions per physician orders.
• Documents care in the patient record in a timely manner.
• Educates patients and families about conditions, plans, medications and follow-up.
