Piedmont Eastside South Campus, Emergency Department in Snellville, GA, is seeking an RN for PRN evening shifts (1 pm–1 am). Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or multi-state licensure.
• Basic Life Support (BCLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing care for adult and pediatric patients in ED.
• Assess, triage, plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Provide intervention in critical care and emergency situations.
• Serve as preceptor or relief charge nurse as needed.
• Document care and communicate with team and physicians.
• Oversee activities of ancillary staff and coordinate care.
• Identify teaching opportunities and educate patients/families.
• Maintain standards of practice and accountability.
• Work within hospital policies and patient-centred care goals.
