Piedmont Healthcare is seeking an RN for the Emergency Department at the Eastside South Campus in Snellville, GA. The PRN Evening shift (1 pm–1 am) supports an 11-bed ED serving adults and children with urgent and emergent needs.

Expect to assess, triage, plan, implement, and evaluate care, while collaborating with a team and documenting thoroughly. Georgia RN licensure and BCLS are required; new grads eligible for PRN with 1 year hospital experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• No experience required; new graduates eligible for PRN.
• Nursing experience in hospital setting preferred.
• 1 year hospital experience preferred for PRN positions.
• Active Georgia RN license and BCLS required.
• Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.

Responsabilidades

• Assess, triage, plan, implement, and evaluate care for adult and pediatric patients in an 11-bed ED.
• Provide intervention in critical care, emergency, and life-threatening situations.
• Willing to function as a preceptor, mentor, and relief charge nurse as needed.
• Perform patient assessments including physical, psychosocial, and health history data.
• Evaluate developmental age during assessments and education.
• Organize data into a care plan and determine outcomes.
• Carry out the plan of care to achieve patient outcomes.
• Ensure care matches severity and setting needs, oversee staff activities.
• Identify teaching opportunities and support patient education.
