Job summary

ChristianaCare Hospitals in Aston and West Grove seeks an experienced RN to support the Emergency Department on a PRN Days schedule. You will assess, plan, direct, and evaluate patient care for diverse ER cases, ensuring safety and comfort for patients and families.

The role requires an Associate Degree in Nursing, active PA RN license, and 2+ years ER experience with BLS/ACLS/PALS. Strong documentation, teamwork, and attention to confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.
• Current state RN license without sanctions required.
• 2+ years ER or equivalent experience required.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required; TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide age-specific and developmentally appropriate nursing care in the Emergency Room.
• Complete accurate, concise documentation in medical records.
• Observe, document signs and symptoms, and evaluate patient status.
• Follow physician orders and infection control procedures.
• Perform admissions, discharges, and transfers as needed.
• Assemble equipment and assist with diagnostic or treatment procedures.
