First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital shifts. Choose shifts that fit your availability and enjoy flexible scheduling with daily pay options.

The role requires an active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS certifications. Per diem opportunities offer evening and night shifts with local support and rapid credentialing.

Qualifications

• Active RN license valid for acute care.
• Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in acute-care ER setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
