Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for per diem hospital opportunities in North Carolina. Choose shifts that fit your availability with competitive pay and flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include assessing patients, triaging, administering medications, coordinating care with physicians, and responding to emergencies. Active RN license, 2+ years ER experience, BLS and ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care Emergency Room experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
