Qualifications

• Current state RN license required.
• Associate's Degree from an accredited nursing program required.
• BCLS required; ACLS, PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department.
• Document patient care accurately.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with care team and family.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living.
• Coordinate transfers, discharges and referrals with the care team.
• Educate patients and families based on age and condition.
• Participate in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Maintain flexible shifts and units as needed.
