Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, New Mexico, seeks an ER Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. You will assess, stabilize, and treat patients with urgent conditions while collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN licensure required (state licensure or compact)
• BCLS required
• ACLS preferred
• PALS preferred
• NRP preferred

Responsabilités

• Coordinates and delivers high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies and the nursing process.
• Conducts thorough patient assessments and documents findings accurately, reporting changes in condition to the care team.
• Administers prescribed medications, monitors for side effects, and documents administration.
• Assists physicians during procedures within the scope of documented competency and skill level.
• Responds to medical emergencies and participates in life-saving interventions (CPR, code team) as appropriate.
• Maintains infection control standards and documents care thoroughly in the medical record.
• Provides patient and family education on conditions, treatment plans, and discharge plans.
