Job summary

Eastern New Mexico Medical Center in Roswell, NM seeks an ER Registered Nurse to provide patient-centered care in a fast-paced Emergency Department. You will assess, stabilize, and treat patients with urgent and critical conditions, collaborating with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The role emphasizes rapid decision-making, adherence to clinical protocols, and education for patients and families. Eligible FT nurses may receive relocation support and a sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required
• RN - Registered Nurse licensure required
• BCLS/ACLS/PALS/NRP certifications per facility guidelines are preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation)
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor for adverse effects
• Coordinate with physicians and healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions ( CPR, code team)
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatment plans, and post-discharge care
