Job summary

White Rock Medical Center, a 218-bed community hospital near White Rock Lake, seeks aSeasonal Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. You will coordinate patient-centered care, triage using ESI, and collaborate with the healthcare team during night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM).

Requires at least 2 years ER nursing experience, Texas RN license with BLS/ACLS; BSN preferred. This seasonal role does not include full-time benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years ER nursing experience.
• BSN preferred.
• Current RN license in Texas; BLS and ACLS required. PALS or ENPC may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient-centered care in the ED and communicate with the healthcare team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care and document in the EMR.
• Administer medications with accuracy and educate patients and families.
• Perform monthly and assigned trainings and maintain equipment readiness.
• Triage patients using the ESI system and provide discharge instructions.
