Job summary

Condell Medical Center in Libertyville, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room. The role covers 7pm to 7am, full-time with every 3rd weekend and potential call. This Level 1 Trauma center has a 45-bed ER and offers a competitive benefits package.

Required are IL RN licensure, BSN preferred or ADN with BSN bridge options, AHA CPR, and flexibility to work weekends/holidays. The environment emphasizes evidence-based practice and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with IL RN license.
• BSN preferred, ADN acceptable with agreement for nurses to enroll in BSN completion program (within four years).
• Current AHA CPR.
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, and different shifts to accommodate staffing.
• Certain positions may require a call.

Responsibilities

• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and best patient experience using evidence-based practice.
• Coordinate patient-centered care across the continuum to support transitions to home or other delivery systems.
• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation per standards.
