Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking an experienced RN for our Emergency Department. This full-time role offers a 36-hour week with a 6:30pm–7:00am shift. Enjoy benefits starting Day One, a generous sign-on bonus, tuition reimbursement, and retirement matching.

Our ED features a 26-bed unit with 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios and strong team support. Qualifications include active RN (or compact) license, ACLS/BLS, ability to lift 50 lbs, and residency within 45 minutes of the hospital.

Qualifications

• Current RN license (or compact license) required.
• Ability to push/pull/lift 50 lbs regularly.
• ACLS and BLS certifications (or within 30 days) required.
• Must live within 45 minutes of Mercy Hospital Washington.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care using the nursing process for ED patients.
• Coordinate patient care with other departments and care teams.
• Maintain patient rights and confidentiality.
• Participate in performance improvement and Mercy Service Standards.
