Job summary

Incredible Health in Hanford, CA is actively hiring an Emergency Department RN to join a community hospital team. This role focuses on urgent care, trauma, and rapid patient assessment, with night and mid shifts and both full-time and part-time options.

You will collaborate with physicians and clinicians to deliver high-quality care, manage medications and equipment, and participate in emergency responses such as code blue. Compensation reflects a busy ED environment in a community hospital.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher degree in nursing.
• Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
• 1+ years of ER experience preferred.
• ACLS, PALS certification preferred.
• Experience with advanced medical equipment and procedures.
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first line of defense for patients needing urgent medical care.
• Treat trauma, injury or severe medical conditions.
• Assess patients' needs and prioritize care.
• Monitor health conditions, administer medications and operate medical equipment.
• Participate in code blue and other emergencies.
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement care plans.
• Educate patients and families about the condition and care plan.
