Wellington Regional Medical Center in Wellington, FL is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the mid shift on a full-time basis. The position offers 36 hours per week, comprehensive benefits, and overtime opportunities, with coverage across shifts as needed.

As a 235-bed acute care hospital within the UHS family, the center emphasizes safety, teamwork, and ongoing professional growth through residency and continued education opportunities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program.
• Prefer one year full time or three years part time experience in acute care setting.
• BLS (current upon hire)
• ACLS, PALS, and/or required specialty training or course completion (or obtained within three months of employment) in required specialty.
• Current Florida nursing license.
• Must successfully pass any pre-employment assessment(s) required by the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe, competent nursing care for patients in accordance with facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provides professional leadership and support to the healthcare team.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence standards at all times.
• Recognizes the signs and symptoms of stroke and calling a stroke alert overhead; performs NIHSS and related assessments as needed.
