Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin, TX, is hiring a full-time ER RN. New increased pay rates and sign-on bonus eligible. The RN provides patient-centered care through the nursing process, coordinating with physicians and the care team to achieve safe, quality outcomes.

You'll administer medications, monitor patients, and educate families while adhering to infection control and safety protocols. This role offers growth opportunities within a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Texas or compact state.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and delivers patient-centered care following nursing process.
• Assesses patients, documents findings, and communicates changes to the team.
• Administers prescribed medications and monitors for side effects.
• Assists physicians during procedures within competency.
• Develops and updates individualized care plans with the team.
• Responds to emergencies and participates in CPR/code activities.
• Educates patients and families on conditions and post-discharge care.
• Maintains infection control and safety standards.
