ScionHealth seeks an RN for the Andalusia Health emergency department in Andalusia, AL. You will provide direct and indirect care in a high-acuity setting and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality care.

The role emphasizes triage, rapid assessment, medication administration, cardiac rhythm monitoring, and patient education, with a strong focus on infection control and regulatory compliance.

Formación

• Associate degree in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred; diploma accepted.
• Current state RN license or compact state equivalent.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, CPI, NIH Stroke Scale within facility policy timelines.
• TNCC preferred or ASLS preferred within policy timelines.
• Emergency nursing experience in acute care preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform triage and prioritize patient care based on acuity.
• Conduct age-appropriate assessments and reassessments of all patients.
• Administer medications, perform procedures, and manage critical drips.
• Assist physicians with exams and procedures in the emergency department.
• Monitor hemodynamic status and interpret cardiac rhythms.
• Document care, treatment, assessments, and education accurately and timely.
• Apply infection control and sterile technique practices consistently.
• Educate patients and families about care plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary team for optimal care delivery.
• Respond calmly and professionally in high-stress, life-threatening situations.
