TriStar Skyline Medical Center in Nashville is seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse to coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced ED setting. Qualifications

• 1+ years of ER RN experience required.
• ACLS, NCI, PALS, TNCC or TNCC Instructor within specified timeframes.
• Associate degree and BCLS/CPR within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after intervention.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered; document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs to provide exceptional care.
• Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
• Prepare patients and families for future self-management and healthy lifestyle changes.
