Job summary

Med Career Solutions in Panama City, FL is seeking an experienced RN for the Free Standing Emergency Department. You will triage, assess and treat patients across the age spectrum and coordinate with physicians to deliver timely, high‑quality care in a fast paced setting.

The role requires 3+ years of acute ER experience, an RN license for Florida (compact license acceptable) and BLS certification. Night shifts with rotating weekends are offered along with competitive pay and a comprehensive

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent Acute Care ER RN experience (within the last year).
• Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma from an accredited institution required.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Current FL RN license or appropriate compact licensure; FL compact license required within 90 days of hire; Advanced Nurse Practitioner license acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Triage, assess and treat patients of all ages.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Develop plans that prescribe strategies and alternatives to attain expected outcomes.
• Manage multiple cases simultaneously providing general nursing care and prioritizing needs continually.
• Provide follow-up care instructions to patients and make necessary referrals.
• Coordinate with physicians and other departments of the hospital to ensure patient safety and focus.
