Job summary

The Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care in the ER setting, collaborating with medical providers and the care team to support a positive patient experience and outcomes. You will document care promptly and respond to patient requests with compassion and efficiency.

You will teach patients and families about conditions, treatments and self-management, while following established nursing models to ensure safety and quality in a fast-paced, high-demand

Qualifications

• RN licensed registered nurse per state requirements.
• Associate degree or higher in nursing.
• ACLS must be obtained within 6 months of start date.
• Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course within 18 months.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 60 days.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course within 18 months.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Assess patient pain and promote effective pain management with appropriate reassessment.
