Job summary

Maria Parham Health is seeking a Registered Nurse in Emergency Services for the Louisburg, NC area. This PRN/Days position provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department, following the nursing process and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include medication administration, assessments, documentation, and supporting patients and families. Candidates must hold NC RN license (or compact), ASN, BLS; ACLS/PALS within 90 days; and at least 1 year of RN experience.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in North Carolina or compact license.
• ASN degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
• ACLS and PALS must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Deliver plan of care interventions and document care provided.
• Monitor patient condition and communicate with the care team and families.
• Assist patients with daily living activities and coordinate transfers or discharges.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve patient outcomes.
• Contribute to education, performance improvement, and ongoing learning.
