Job summary

First Choice Nurses of Eastern Virginia is seeking an Emergency Room Registered Nurse (RN) for Per Diem shifts in Virginia. The role offers flexible scheduling with day and night options and daily or weekly pay.

You will assess, triage, and treat patients in a fast-paced ER, coordinating with physicians and the healthcare team. Active RN license, 2+ years of ER experience, and current BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent acute-care ER experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Ability to complete facility credentialing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor patients in an acute-care emergency setting.
• Triage and prioritize patient needs.
• Administer medications and treatments.
• Monitor and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Coordinate care with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
• Respond to emergency and critical-care situations.
• Complete required assessments and documentation.
• Perform additional RN duties within scope of practice and facility requirements.
