Lee's Summit Medical Center in Lee's Summit, MO, is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our ER team. You will coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with physicians and care teammates to support excellent outcomes.

Responsibilities include pain assessment and management, timely documentation, patient education, and proactive service. A commitment to our mission and values is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in good standing.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention within 6 months of employment start date.
• PALS within 6 months of employment start date.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsabilités

• Assess patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassess after interventions.
• Perform procedures and document care in the medical record.
• Respond promptly to patient requests and anticipate needs.
• Educate patients/families about condition, treatment plan, medications, and side effects.
• Teach self-management, lifestyle changes, and follow-up measures to patients and families.
