JMC Jefferson Medical Center in West Virginia seeks a Registered Nurse to deliver professional inpatient nursing care using the nursing process and independent judgment. You will ensure safety, develop and evaluate care plans, and collaborate with the care team to meet patient needs.

The role requires current RN licensure and BLS within 30 days of hire, with less than 12 months of experience. BSN preferred and ongoing education is encouraged.

Formación

• Current Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which services will be provided or current multi-state RN license through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• Obtain Basic Life Support within 30 days of hire date.
• Less than 12 months of experience as a registered nurse.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Demonstrates safety and continuity of care using documentation, handoff tools/processes, etc.
• Creates plan of care using the nursing process: assessment, diagnoses, intervention, and evaluation of outcomes.
• Recognizes patient safety concerns through appropriate resources.
• Provides education based on unique learning needs of patient.
• Incorporates patient individuality & mutuality data in delivery of care.
• Performs an adequate patient assessment and documentation.
• Demonstrates teach-back method to evaluate effectiveness of education.
• Utilizes Evidence-Based Practice (EBP) in nursing care.
• Documents problems and issues in the plan of care.
