Job summary

Advocate Health's High Point Medical Center in High Point, NC is seeking a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This 36-hour-per-week, full-time role features first shift 7a–7p three days per week with every fourth weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing–approved nursing program.
• Active, unrestricted RN license (multi-state compact and/or state-specific as applicable).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Typically 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, patient-centered emergency care using the nursing process, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice—monitoring patient conditions, administering treatments, and adapting care in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to drive optimal outcomes—promoting safety, quality, and patient experience while maintaining documentation, communication, and professional standards.
