Job summary

Tucson Hospital, LLC is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Emergency Department on a PRN/part-time basis. The role requires two years of ER experience, current RN licensure, and active CPR, ACLS or equivalent training.

Qualifications

• Two years ER experience.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure with the State Board of Nursing.
• BCLS/CPR, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, TNCC preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough head-to-toe patient assessments and psychosocial evaluations.
• Triage patients and assign urgency based on condition.
• Provide emergency care across all ages in line with protocols.
• Administer medications accurately per five rights.
• Supervise ER Technicians and support staff.
• Communicate clearly with patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff on care plans.
• Maintain infection control practices to ensure patient safety.
• Engage in ongoing education and quality improvement.
