St. Mark's Hospital in Salt Lake City is seeking a Registered Nurse for an extended orientation program to transition from prior hospital experience into a new specialty. Mixed shift during orientation provides flexibility and hands-on learning in a supportive environment.

You will work with strong staffing support and advanced technology to monitor patients, with ongoing clinical education to sharpen your skills and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Formación

• RN license and active nursing licensure.
• NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days of employment start date.
• BLS then ACLS within specified timelines; ENPC or PALS within 90 days; TNCC/TPATC within 1 year of start date.
• One or more years of RN Step-down ICU or ICU experience required for the transitional program.

Responsabilidades

• Assesses patient pain regularly to promote effective pain management and reassessments after interventions.
• Performs procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider; documents care in the medical record.
• Responds promptly to patient requests and anticipates needs to provide exceptional care.
• Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, treatment plan, medications and follow-up measures.
• Educates on non-medicinal follow-up measures such as diet and exercise and prepares for self-management.
