Job summary

Adventist HealthCare is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department in Fort Washington, MD. The role emphasizes patient-centered care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and adherence to ANA standards.

Requirements include an Associate of Science degree (Bachelor’s preferred), 1 year ED RN experience or 2 years related acute care, and Maryland RN license with BLS/ACLS. Full-time evening shifts from 12:00 pm to 12:00 am are available.

Qualifications

• Current Emergency Department RN experience: 1 year or 2 years related acute care experience.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Clinical Nurse Manager.
• Deliver safe, patient-centered care and educate patients and families.
• Demonstrate professionalism and adhere to ANA standards of practice.
• Utilize equipment and technology correctly and delegate non-nursing duties to maximize efficiency.
