Job summary

Dukes Memorial Hospital's Emergency Room is hiring a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN) for the Day Shift. The RN will provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to achieve positive outcomes.

Responsibilities include patient assessment, medication administration, emergency interventions, care planning and documentation. The role includes a Sign-On Bonus eligibility and access to student loan repayment programs, with 12-hour day

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of clinical nursing experience or student rotations in acute care required.
• RN licensure required; BCLS certification required.
• ACLS/PALS/NRP are preferred certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient-centered care using the nursing process and coordinate with the care team.
• Administer medications and monitor for side effects with accurate documentation.
• Assist physicians during procedures within competency and scope.
• Document care and education thoroughly in the medical record.
• Respond to emergencies and participate in life-saving interventions as needed.
