Job summary

Ascension Seton Williamson Hospital in Round Rock, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role covers direct patient care on day shifts (36 hours weekly) across 3 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends.

You will implement and monitor care plans, document in EHR/EMR, and coordinate with the care team to ensure quality outcomes and a positive patient experience. Requires TX RN licensure and ACLS/BLS/PALS per policy.

Qualifications

• Diploma or nursing licensure required.
• ALS (Advanced Life Support) within 6 months; BLS within 1 month; Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 6 months.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing prior to hire.
• 3 years ED experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care as an RN following clinical protocols and safety standards.
• Implement and monitor care plans, assessing conditions and adjusting interventions.
• Coordinate care across the multidisciplinary team and ensure effective communication.
• Document patient status in EHR/EMR and support quality initiatives.
