Job summary

Palmetto-General-Hospital in Florida seeks an experienced Emergency Room nurse to provide advanced patient care across all ages in a fast-paced setting. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care in alignment with unit standards.

The role requires graduation from an approved nursing program, 1 year of acute care experience, and active Florida RN licensure with BLS and ACLS certification; PALS and CPI training are expected after hire.

Qualifications

• One (1) year Acute Care Experience required.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Good organizational skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers advanced professional and technical nursing care to ER patients of all ages.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to provide age/ developmentally appropriate care.
• Prepares equipment and assists physician during treatments and examinations.
• Assists in planning, supervising, and instructing LPNs and E.D. Techs.
