Job summary

Peterson Health in Kerrville, Texas seeks a dedicated Emergency Room Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts (6:30 PM–6:30 AM). You will assess and plan care for ED patients, document findings, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. A sign-on bonus is offered for qualifying full-time ED RNs.

Required: Texas RN license, CPR, ACLS/PALS within one year; preferred TNCC/ENPC and 1 year ED experience. Benefits include health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), PTO, and education scholarships.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Texas RN license and CPR required.
• ACLS and PALS within one year of employment; renewal within 2 months of the recommended renewal date.

• Document responses and care plans in the patient record.
• Provide nursing care during night shifts (6:30 PM – 6:30 AM) and participate in the care team.

The response to these needs are evaluated and documented in the patient record.

Required Skills: Knowledge and ability to perform the skills necessary for the unit specific competencies

Preferred Skills: TNCC ENPC

Required Licensure/Registration/Certification: Current Texas Licensure as a Registered Nurse and CPR. ACLS PALS within One year of employment, and there after renew within 2 months of recommend date of renewal.

Preferred Licensure/Registration/Certification: CEN

Required Experience: Possess the knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care to Emergency patients.
