Job summary

A healthcare facility in Woodstock, Virginia is seeking an experienced Emergency Room RN with Level II or III experience to join its emergency nursing staff.

This on-site clinical position operates in a 17-bed Emergency Department with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio. The ER RN will deliver direct care, perform triage, assess patients, administer medications, and coordinate with the care team to ensure timely, safe emergency care.

Qualifications

• Two years of emergency department nursing experience minimum.
• ER RN with Level II or III experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care across a wide range of emergency presentations.
• Perform triage and prioritize patients by acuity.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and identify evolving needs.
• Administer medications and interventions in time-sensitive situations.
• Coordinate with physicians and the care team to ensure continuity of care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation for all encounters.
• Uphold patient safety and follow ED protocols.
• Support a collaborative, patient-centered 17-bed unit.
