Job summary

Bon Secours Maryview Medical Center, in Portsmouth, VA, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Emergency Room. This full-time role offers a 36-hour work week and a sign-on bonus up to $50,000, with day shifts available.

You will deliver high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ER, collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, administering medications, and developing care plans to improve patient outcomes. Requires an RN license and ED/CC experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Associates degree or Bachelors degree in Nursing.
• Current state RN licensure.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification per policy and hospital requirements.
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience; ER/CC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team.
• Care for groups of patients in a fast-paced ER setting.
• Evaluate and update care plans to meet outcomes.
• Serve as point of contact for patient care coordination.
• Administer medications safely and per policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
