Job summary

Highpoint Health Riverview is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for Emergency Services in Carthage, TN. This PRN role supports an acute care department within Lifepoint Health, delivering direct patient care using established nursing processes in a fast-paced ED.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), current RN license in-state, and BCLS; ACLS/PALS and Handle with Care are a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing is required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN license in state of practice; BCLS required; ACLS, PALS, and Handle with Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process.
• Reports to the Director or Manager of Department.
• Exposure to occupational hazards and need for frequent standing, lifting, and movement of patients.
