Job summary

Desert View Hospital is a 25-bed acute care facility in a rural community seeking a Registered Nurse to provide safe and competent patient care. You will lead the healthcare team and uphold Patient Centered Care as the foundation for nursing practice, demonstrating Service Excellence at all times.

Requirements include a Nevada RN license with BLS and ACLS (PALS/NRP as applicable); BSN preferred, and 1–2 years of acute care experience or completion of a specialty course.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing and completion of a specialty course or equivalent. BSN preferred.
• Experience: 1-2 years acute care or completion of an approved specialty course.
• License/Certification: Current RN license in Nevada. Current BLS, ACLS (adult), PALS (pediatric) or NRP. Other certifications as required.
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills for age-appropriate care.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care per facility policies, standards and philosophy.
• Provide leadership and support to the healthcare team; supervise staff on the unit.
• Demonstrate Patient Centered Care and Service Excellence at all times.
