Job summary

Chino Valley Medical Center in Chino, CA, part of Prime Healthcare, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. The role involves delivering safe patient care in Telemetry, with direct patient care and patient/family teaching under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in California.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• PALS and/or ENPC within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 1 year ER staff nurse experience; ED experience preferred.
• CEN certification preferred.
• BSN degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe patient care in the Emergency Department using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Provide direct patient care within scope of practice in Telemetry.
• Educate patients and families; collaborate with physicians on care plans.
