Job summary

Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, HI is seeking an experienced RN for full-time NIGHT SHIFT in the Emergency Department. The role requires delivering coordinated nursing care, supervising licensed and unlicensed staff, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Minimum requirements include RN licensure in Hawaii and BLS/CPR, with BSN preferred. ACLS, PALS and TEAM certifications are required or pursued per AH policy.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN): Preferred.
• Acute care facility experience: Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collects relevant data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation and develops a care plan.
• Collaborates with patient, family and healthcare team to provide safe, compassionate care.
• Participates in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
• Delegates appropriately and coordinates duties of healthcare team members.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
