Job summary

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida seeks a Registered Nurse with emergency room experience to provide and coordinate safe, patient-centered care. You will lead and support the healthcare team, communicate with physicians, and administer IVs and medications while monitoring patients closely.

Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Florida RN licensure, and BLS; ACLS and PALS are strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an Accredited School of Nursing is required.
• Active Florida RN licensure required.
• BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS preferred/required.
• NIH Stroke Certification desirable or required.
• CPI certification to be completed within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, competent nursing care following facility policies and standards.
• Demonstrate professional leadership to the healthcare team.
• Communicate with physicians and nursing staff about patient needs.
• Administer IVs and medications and monitor vital signs.

Education

Graduation from Accredited School of Nursing

Current RN licensure in Florida

Current BLS through American Heart Association

Current ACLS through American Heart Association

Current PALS through American Heart Association

Current NIH Stroke Certification

CPI (Nonviolent Crisis Intervention) within 90 days of hire
