Job summary

Avem Health Partners seeks an experienced RN for the night ER shift in Stroud, OK. The role provides direct patient care to a range of conditions, from simple to complex, in a fast-paced hospital setting.

You will assess patients, develop and adjust care plans, administer medications, document accurately, supervise CNAs/LPNs, and respond to emergencies. Current Oklahoma RN license, BLS/ACLS/PALS, and ER experience are required or preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program and an Oklahoma RN license.
  • Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; TNCC/CEN preferred.
  • Two years ER nursing experience or closely related setting.

Responsibilities

  • Administers nursing care and medications per policy and plan of care.
  • Assesses patients, initiates revisions to the care plan as needed.
  • Documents thoroughly and communicates with the healthcare team.
  • Supervises CNAs/LPNs and ensures safety and infection control.
  • Responds to emergencies and maintains patient confidentiality.

$15,000 SIGN-ON BONUS!!!JOB PURPOSE: NIGHT ER RNUnder general supervision, provides nursing care in an ER hospital setting to a variety of patients with health problems ranging from simple to complex. Any position that has direct patient care is considered to be safety sensitive by Avem Health Partners standards.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Administers a variety of patient care and special procedures utilizing unique skills/training to this department.Contributes to the assessment of the patient.Participates in the development and modification of the plan of care.Implements the appropriate aspects of the patient plan of care.Delegates such tasks as may safely be performed by others, consistent with educational preparation and that do not conflict with the Oklahoma Nursing Practice Act.Provides safe and effective nursing care rendered directly or indirectly.Administers medications as stipulated by the policies and procedures of the facility.Communicates with all members of the healthcare team.Ensures that required documentation is complete and is in compliance with regulations and standards.Evaluates, and regularly re-evaluates the nursing needs of the client; initiates, develops, implements, and makes necessary revisions of the client's plan of care.Observes signs and symptoms and reports to the physician and/or other appropriate health professionals as often as needed, changes in the client condition. Ensures documentation reflects.Responsible for keeping current in nursing trends and knowledge. Complies with established policies and procedures and all health and safety requirements.EDUCATION/ CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program.Current RN license issued by the State of Oklahoma Board of Nursing.Current BLS (or obtained within 30 day of hire).Current ACLS (or obtained within 30 days of hire).Current PALS (or obtained within 30 days of hire).TNCC/CEN preferred.EXPERIENCE:Two (2) years of full-time RN experience in ER or other comparable experience required.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duties satisfactorily.
